I am in the process of trying to secure the gym at Oak Hills Christian College, the same venue as in years past. This has not been finalized as yet, and I will make that announcement in a future post.
I have spoken to the staff at Ruttgers Birchmont Lodge, and as of now all units except the one I have reserved are open, so if you are prepared to make the commitment, there should be no problem in getting a good reservation. Of course there are many other lodging options in Bemidji, but most of us have had a very good experience at Ruttgers over the years. It may be a good idea if you let them know you are a part of our group as you make your reservation.
Please continue to check in on the website for further information and updates.
Classes now taught Monday through Thursday, and Saturday. Click above link for details.

KUDA SHINSHI’S 2009 SEMINAR posted 007/01/09
The following information was provide by Mr. Ettish:
The exact schedule is still being worked on, but the seminar will take place over the weekend of 18 September this year. We will again be holding the event @ Oak Hills Christian College, in the same bldg as the past two years.
If you are planning on staying @ Ruttger's, I suggest you contact them as soon as you can. Their phone number is 218 444 3463 or 1- 888- RUTTGER. Their website is www.ruttger.com. If you are not able to get a reservation @ Ruttger's, please contact me and I will try to help you. Some lodging is available on the campus of Oak Hills. It is hotel style, but has shared bathrooms. I have not looked into it far enough to know if any dining is available. Cost is 35 - $45 per night depending on what rooms you book. Of course, there are numerous other lodging options in Bemidji.
Because Bemidji is the only seminar site, it may be that we have more people in attendance from out of town. This may impact room availability @ Ruttger's so, as I said, if you plan on staying there, I would not delay too long.
The seminar format may be different from years past. We are working that out, currently. One thing that will be a major departure from the past is that Tomo Shinshi has been talking about having a Matsumura Kenpo Karate and Kobudo Kata Tournament during the seminar. No further details @ this time because, again, we are still working this out.
